Advance Central PA has strategically located six PA CareerLinkĀ® offices throughout Central Pennsylvania and operates a mobile workforce unit, The Link, to provide customized services to employers and individuals seeking employment opportunities.

What does PA career CareerLink do? ā€ŗ

In PA CareerLinkĀ®, job-seekers have the ability to search and apply for job openings across the Commonwealth or narrow it down to their own town. You can create and upload a resume and make yourself available to thousands of employers. PA CareerLinkĀ® will also recommend jobs for you based on your preferences.

Does PA CareerLink pay for training? ā€ŗ

Yes, the PA CareerLinkĀ® can pay for certain trainings / further education depending on the individual's circ*mstances and current high demand occupations.

Can PA CareerLink help with unemployment? ā€ŗ

UC's first goal is to help you find a job. To do this, UC works with Pennsylvania CareerLinkĀ® to match claimants with available jobs.

Do you have to register for PA CareerLink? ā€ŗ

To be eligible for Unemployment Compensation benefits, you are required to do all of the following: Register for employment-search services offered by PA CareerLinkĀ® within 30 days after filing for benefits. Conduct an active search for work during each week you claim benefits.

Who funds PA CareerLink? ā€ŗ

The PA CareerLinkĀ® system (funded and managed by Philadelphia Works, Inc.) has resources to effectively hire, train, and retain a skilled workforce in Philadelphia.
